Not every tree should come down. Sometimes, pruning, soil improvement, or careful monitoring is the better answer. 1. Initial Consultation and Site Details
   We begin by learning what you are seeing, such as broken branches, decay, leaning, storm damage, root lifting, dead sections, blocked light, construction plans, or permit concerns. If the situation is urgent, we prioritize safety and help determine whether immediate action is needed.

2. Arborist Assessment and Recommendation
   An arborist reviews the tree’s health, species, trunk diameter, canopy spread, defects, cavities, disease signs, pest activity, soil conditions, nearby structures, access, and whether permits may be required. If an arborist report is needed, we explain what it should include and how it supports a City of Mississauga request.

3. Professional Work and Cleanup
   Before the job starts, you receive a clear scope of work, including pruning specifications, removal method, equipment access, stump grinding depth, cleanup expectations, waste removal, and property protection steps. On the day of the appointment, our crew sets up the work zone, performs the tree care service, manages branches and debris, and leaves the location clean.

We do not rely on promises without planning. Safe tree work comes from training, equipment, experience, and communication.

Every property is different, but homeowners usually want a realistic starting point before they request a quote. The table below gives common CAD ranges for planning only. Final pricing depends on height, trunk diameter, condition, access, risk, equipment, disposal, stump work, permits, and whether the tree is near buildings, wires, fences, or other hazards.

Mississauga has rules for private and public trees. The City states that a permit is required to remove one or more private property trees that are 15 cm, or 6 inches, or greater in diameter, including dead or dying trees. Arborist reports are required for development and construction projects, though not for dead trees. The City also notes that a complete application may take 30 business days to review.

Permit fees and replacement tree requirements can apply. The City currently lists a base permit fee of $399.77 including HST, with an additional fee for each additional healthy tree, and replacement planting requirements based on trunk diameter. Because rules and fees can change, we always recommend checking the current City page or asking our team during consultation.

This is one of the reasons certified arborists matter. A proper report can document species, size, condition, risk, location, recommended action, and replacement planning. It can also reduce confusion if the tree is close to a shared fence line, a public boulevard, construction work, or a neighbour’s property.
